The Evening Sky

I’m blogging tonight from my driveway, where I’m looking at the crescent moon, with Mars right next to it and the two head stars of Gemini, Castor and Pollux, right there with the moon and Mars. It’s a very pretty sight. The sky is rather clear, although, I do feel a little cheated by all the light polution that has been creeping in over the last 28 years that I’ve lived here. But it’s still refreshing to have a clear night, to look up and to see some familiar stars like old friends just waiting for me to come out here and visit with them. That’s all for now.
